FAQ

(01) What countries does Kreller collect in?

Kreller can pursue commercial debts in 195 countries worldwide. We maintain a well-established network of locally based collectors and attorneys who specialize in collection law.

(02) What paperwork do I need to place a collection file with Kreller?

To begin collection activity, Kreller only requires a completed Collection Placement Form and the invoices related to the outstanding debt. If any additional documentation becomes necessary while we are working the file, we will reach out and request it at that time.

(03) How soon does the collection process begin once a file is placed?

Once Kreller receives your file, it is immediately entered into our system. A collection manager then assigns the file to the most suitable agent to pursue your claim. Within the first two hours of receiving the account, our collector will send a demand letter via email. Phone calls from the collector begin the following day.

(04) What is the cost to hire Kreller to collect?

Kreller operates on a “no collection, no fee” basis, meaning we only get paid if we successfully recover funds. For collections in the USA, Canada, and Western Europe, our fee is 25% of the amount collected. For collections in all other regions, our fee is 30% of the amount collected.

(05) What is the cost if an attorney gets involved?

Kreller’s network of attorneys also works on a “no collection, no fee” basis. Depending on the location of the debt, involving an attorney increases the standard collection rate by 5%. Any out-of-pocket court costs are the responsibility of the client and are quoted upfront before the attorney is retained.

(06) When the debtor company pays, do they pay my company or yours?

Kreller collectors provide the debtor company with our wire transfer information so that payments are sent directly to our bank. This allows the collector to monitor payment receipt and follow up promptly if the payment deadline is missed. In some cases, the debtor may ignore these instructions and pay your company directly. It is important to notify us immediately if this occurs.

(07) Will placing a debt with Kreller for collections affect the customer’s credit?

Not unless the debtor refuses to pay. If the debtor company refuses to communicate with our collectors, we will report the debt when the file is closed. Kreller reports unpaid debts to D&B, Experian, and BCR.

(08) Can Kreller collect from private individuals?

No. Kreller specializes in B2B debt recovery and is licensed solely to pursue commercial receivables.
